Dear Parents,

 

Welcome back to the new school year.  The Birch Lane PTA is up and running and ready to work hard for the Birch Lane families.  Parent involvement is such an important part of your child’s education.   This year we are striving for 100% membership in our school.  “Each one, Reach One” is the theme for this membership drive.  What that means is for “each one membership, we can start to reach one of our goals”.  Membership is one way you can support your child’s enrichment in Birch Lane.  Our Arts In Education program provides the many assemblies that your child experiences.  These outstanding programs range from anywhere $400 -$1500 per program!  Our committee works very hard to use the budget to provide all grades with educational assemblies.  This is just one part of where your membership money is spent.  Other programs such as Reflections, PARP, Health Wellness and Safety as just a few of the great programs that our PTA provides for your child.

 

Every parent in our school can become a PTA member.  Becoming a member means that you want to support the programs provided and continue to have them in our school. It’s your choice - volunteer, contribute or do both!

 

Attached to this note is the current year membership envelope.  Please enclose your membership dues and return with your child to school.  Individual membership is $8.00 and the family membership (two adults) is $14.00.
